Best places to stay on Pemba Island – Beach Hotels. How to Choose the Best Hotel on Pemba Island

The plants on Pemba are interesting, and the diving and swimming are great. But the beaches aren’t nearly as nice as those in Zanzibar. There are coral reefs and a clear ocean all around, but thick mangrove woods on the shore make it hard to get to. Definitely a place to go underwater.

Ann Aiyana, Constance

What We Think This new and exciting hotel, which is in the very north of Pemba Island, has been taken over by Constance Hotels and given a makeover. With modern design that doesn’t stand out, this hotel fits right in with its surroundings, making it a sleek and luxurious place for people who want to relax by the Indian Ocean.

The Fundu Lagoon

The lodge at Our View Fundu Lagoon is a great place to dive and swim. It has some great dive spots and is known for having very healthy corals. It’s also great for weddings, but you might have trouble finding a good beach! The tides come in and out a lot, and there isn’t a white beach like on Zanzibar. Even though there isn’t a beach, the cabin and all-inclusive rate more than make up for it. The rooms are tents, and the high prices are not worth it unless you stay in one of the suites or special suites.

The Resort at Manta

The Manta Resort is a cheap camp in the middle of nowhere on the northern tip of the island of Pemba. People come here to dive and get away from the busy island of Zanzibar. It’s been here for a long time, but different people have owned it over the years. Some changes have been made that have raised the standard. A simple lodge that still has a beach that isn’t too busy and great places to swim.
