Best places to stay in Zanzibar Stone Town

Best places to stay in Zanzibar Stone Town. Stone Town’s Best Places to Stay. With its bright shops and tasty spices, Stone Town is the center of Zanzibar and a great place to see and do a lot. When you visit Stone Town, you can learn about its interesting past. After that, you can take a walk through Forodhani Gardens and be enchanted by its lively, happy vibe. In Stone Town on Zanzibar, there are many places to stay. Here are some of our favorites.

Park Hyatt

What We Think The Park Hyatt Hotel is a big hotel that is right on the beach in Stone Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you’d expect from a bigger, better-known hotel chain, there is great attention to detail and friendly, helpful service.

The Palace Hotel in Zanzibar

What We Think This place is great. The Zanzibar Palace Hotel is a small, nine-room hotel with modern comforts and designs that reflect Zanzibar’s rich past. The designs are a mix of Arabian, Indian, and English styles. Each room is decorated in its own unique way, with many antiques from the area, magical beds, Persian rugs, bright silks, and other things. We really like this hotel if you want to stay in the middle of Stone Town.

Serena Inn on Zanzibar

The Serena Inn is one of the world’s small luxury hotels. It doesn’t fit in with Stone Town’s style, but that’s a good thing, quite frankly! It’s a great place to get away from what can be a busy town. The ocean view from the pool makes it the nicest place in Stone Town to enjoy a drink at sunset.

The Hotel Mashariki Palace

The famous Stone Town is home to the new Masharaki Palace hotel. Stone Town is known for its unique mix of Persian, Arabian, Indian, Colonial, and African styles in its architecture and culture. One wing of the old house was turned into the hotel. Each room is different and has its own stylish features, such as hand-carved four-poster beds. On the rooftop, you can enjoy a drink as the sun goes down and watch the night come to life. Also, the nearby shops, bars, and cafes make it easy to get around. Mashariki’s modern luxury will appeal to everyone, from history buffs to couples to people who love to shop.

236 of Hurumzi

What We Think 236 A long time ago, the Hurumzi Hotel was the best place to stay in Stone Town. Since then, much better things have come out.

Yousef

Seyyida, Kono Kono, and Kasha are all from the same family and are all under the same roof. A lack of consistency and care is something that it has in common with the other two beach lodges, which is a shame. The view of the harbor from the room is beautiful. The rooms are very big, and the hotel makes the main area look nice with good services and finishing. But staying here is very risky, so you should really think about staying somewhere more safe, like the Serena Inn, the Beyt Al Chai, or the Zanzibar Palace.

The Tembo Hotel

We don’t like recommending this hotel because it has let us down in the past. Although some rooms are very nice, the service is not even close to being as good as its competitors. The most important thing is that it is a dry hotel, which is a nightmare for those of us who like to drink at sunset.
