AndBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

AndBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. What We Think. The Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is one of the nicest lodges on the northern route. It is owned and run by &Beyond. Even though the cabin is very nice, it may not be one of the most popular. This is because it is in a less busy part of Lake Manyara, and Manyara isn’t as well known as the bigger game parks in the north. We think this lodge is great, but you should stay here for at least two nights to make the long drive worth it.

Ahead of Lake Manyara Tree Lodge: What You Need to Know

The only lodge in the park is the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, which is in the south of Lake Manyara National Park, a long way from the park’s busiest area. This makes this small park feel very remote and quiet. However, it takes over two hours to get to the camp, so we suggest staying at least two nights. On a northern vacation, Lake Manyara is a great place to go along with Ngorongoro and the Serengeti.

The common area of Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is on a split-level raised platform with simple but comfy furniture. The sides don’t have any windows, so it feels very open. People eat just below this area, across from the open kitchen. As with all &Beyond sites, there is always a waiter nearby with a gin and tonic.

Ten tree house apartments built on stilts are available for guests. Each has its own bathroom, an outdoor bathroom area, and a private wooden deck with a view of the forest. There are big windows in each tree house room that let the lush forest inside. There is modern furniture in the rooms that is mostly bland in color and texture. There are mosquito nets, ceiling fans, and other earthy, simple features in the bedrooms.

Wildlife drives at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge can be done on foot, at night, or in open-sided vehicles.
