Gold Resort Zanzibar. Zanzibar is known for having beautiful beaches, but the beach in front of Gold Zanzibar is the best of all of them. The rooms are big, well-designed, and have nice views of the beach and sea. However, the furniture is a bit bland. The pool is huge and has a great view.

Without a question, Kendwa Beach is Zanzibar’s best. It’s twice as big as the next closest one, a beautiful coral white color, and best of all, it doesn’t go out with the tide. A piece of empty land had been waiting to be built on for years, and in 2012, Gold Zanzibar used this to their advantage. Even though it’s cold water, the pool is very big and looks great next to the beach.

The rooms are big, but a little empty, and a strange gold color. They are up on a hill, away from the water. Each one has a balcony, a widescreen TV, a very big double bed, and a nice bathroom. Some of the worst hotel rooms you will ever see are in the luxury houses on the beach. However, they are right on the beach and each one has its own private jacuzzi.

The food and service are fine, and the resort has a spa, a gym, and a PADI dive center. Even the sunsets are nice, which isn’t often found on the island.
