Hotel Kasha | Zanzibar Beach Resort
Hotel Kasha | Zanzibar Beach Resort. We like Kasha, and there are some things about it that make it worth the money. But, just know that there is no beach. Because the tide is so high, you have to stay in the house when the water is high. Still, the rooms are great, and you can enjoy the comforts of air conditioning, private plunge pools, and TVs. However, the service has been spotty at times. A three-night stay here at the start of your trip might be worth it if you take advantage of their regular deals and use all three rooms.
What You Need to Know About Hotel Kasha
With a view of the Mnemba Atoll, Kasha is on the northeast coast of Zanzibar. From Stone Town, it only takes an hour to get to Nungwi, which is in the north of the island.
There are two parts to the main area. Overlooking the door to the lodge is a reception area with sofas and decorations that is covered by a huge, very high Makuti roof. The restaurant is located about 100 yards from the beach and is still under the same roof.
The pool and pool bar are the other main area. They are about 70 yards from the door and can be reached by an open path.
There are twelve rooms on one side of the building and five on the other. Each level has a row of rooms behind it. Even if your room isn’t right on the ocean, you can still see it from the room next to it. Each room is very big, with bedrooms and baths that are very open. Inside, the big beds with mosquito nets, his and hers sinks, and large living room make it feel like home. Outside, the plunge pool, sun loungers, cushions, and shady porch make it feel like you’re in a tropical paradise with great views. This lodge is great for honeymooners.
