Wayo Litttle Green Camp. As a smaller, simpler version of its sister camp, Little Green Camp allows guests to enjoy the Wayo Green Camp experience all year long. We couldn’t agree more with the motto’small in size, but heavy on experience’. Little Green Camp has three locations during the year, while Serengeti Green Camp only has two. The camp’s lighter features allow for more movement, resulting in the camp being put up in the Serengeti’s middle region between April and July, as well as in the park’s south and north.

Wayo Little Green Camp: The Facts

Little Green Camp, like the other Wayo Camps, is located in the Serengeti’s more isolated parts while remaining in prime animal viewing zones.

Each of the six’star tents’ has its own en-suite bathroom, which includes a bucket shower and compost toilet. The rooms are named for the mesh-gauze that covers the tops of the chambers, allowing guests to stargaze as long as they can keep their eyes open after an exciting day on safari. If it rains, the camp staff may roll down the canvas to keep everyone dry.

The main space includes a comfortable sofa or two, eating tables, and a bar, providing everything needed for an authentic safari experience.

The days here can be spent both walking and driving as the camp follows the migrating herds of wildebeests. Walks can be full or half days, with some of the greatest guides available. Walking allows guests to access regions that vehicles cannot reach, such as rocky kopjes, drainage lines, and acacia woodlands.
