Zanzibar Ocean Paradise. This is a pretty good hotel for a big island. It’s big and business, but it’s a great deal, it’s in a great spot, and it has everything that all of its competitors do. This type of hotel is only really done well by Blue Bay and Ocean Paradise. But Breezes Beach Club is a good choice if you want something a little smaller but still pretty big. It costs a little more, but it’s well worth it.

Ocean Paradise in Zanzibar

On Zanzibar’s northeast coast, Ocean Paradise is a great place to go on a beach vacation. It’s only a 45-minute drive from Stone Town and the airport.

The rooms are all set up like native African roundhouses and have everything you could want. All of the rooms have a pitched makuti roof and a private porch with a view of the sea. You can relax on your balcony and enjoy the slow pace of life in Africa. Each room has air conditioning and a comfy twin or king-size bed with a mosquito net over it. The baths are new and big.

Ocean Paradise is a lodge with lots of bright colors. As you walk into the building, the front desk has a view of the sea and a beautiful white sand beach with coconut palms all over it. In the middle of the area, there is a big swimming pool with a waterfall. The Ocean restaurant is on the second floor and has a great view of the water. Meals can also be eaten outside by the pool or in the common area outside. One more place is called Jahazi, and the other is called Mawinbi.

There is a great dive center right there, and you can also windsurf, kayak, and sail. From the front desk, you can plan trips to Stone Town, which is great for any Tanzania family vacation. You can also work out at the gym and play beach volleyball, table tennis, and pool.
